Canterbury Plains & High Country Tour
Your tour commences with a brief Christchurch city tour, including Christchurch’s main attractions and landmarks before travelling across the Canterbury Plains, rich in agriculture, and finally into the majestic High Country.

See High Country lakes (at 3000 feet above sea level), and the movie location of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and experience the splendour of the High Country and the Southern Alps.

Buy your lunch in a quaint Canterbury town, at a renowned bakery, and picnic beside a picturesque High Country lake. Tea, coffee and seasonal fruit provided.

Enjoy a short walk through some of New Zealand’s unique native Beech forest.

On return to Christchurch relax with an ice cream at Sumner, Christchurch’s premium beach, before returning to Lyttelton and Christchurch. [full itinerary]
