Your tour

From your cruise ship
You can either take the free shuttle to Lyttelton i-Site and then the local bus to Christchurch’s Cathedral Square – approximately NZD $2.80; OR

You can pay for a one-way transfer to Christchurch’s Cathedral Square from your ship. Our tour returns you to Lyttelton OR Christchurch as part of our service.

We stop at a quaint country town where you have the opportunity to buy lunch from a bakery; renowned for it’s delicious freshly baked food.

Then up into the Canterbury High Country (3000 feet / 900 metres above sea level) where we pass by lakes, mountains, through native Beech Forest, and the movie location of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

The scenery is stunning! There are numerous photo opportunities.

12.00pm
We will have our picnic lunch at either Lake Pearson, or in the native forest. After lunch you will have the opportunity to take a walk through our native Beech Forest.

We then return to Christchurch, via Sumner and the beach. You will have the chance to stroll to ‘Cave Rock’ and enjoy an ice cream if you desire.

A short trip up and over the hill, with the last photograph opportunity before arriving in Lyttelton. You can photograph your cruise ship from above.

4.00pm
You will arrive at Lyttelton i-Site where you catch the shuttle to your cruise ship; OR4.45pmYou will arrive in Christchurch, Cathedral Square - Tram Stop or your hotel.
